Whittier is a charming neighborhood east of Downtown Boulder, known for its historic charm and convenient access to various amenities. While Whittier is a peaceful residential area home to many single-family residences and student homes, it's just a short walk or drive away from downtown Boulder and Boulder Junction, where you'll find a vibrant arts and entertainment scene as well as loads of shopping and eateries.

This neighborhood and quaint and quiet. There a very few distractions and nuisances. It had a nice mix of old and new builds and the people appear friendly.

The area around the complex gets a little noisy sometimes. I've never had trouble sleeping because of it, though. I would not say that I feel in danger walking/biking around the area, but I could imagine how some people would. Public transit is close by, which is nice. Access to Pearl St. or CU Boulder is simple, which is also a plus.

The Cove

The neighborhood is lively during the day (lots of dogs and their owners out for a walk), but generally clams down and is quiet at night. Except for the occasional drunk group of friends walking home on Friday night and talking way too loudly.
