Paradise
The Strip, UNLV, Harry Reid International Airport, and so much more!
Paradise is synonymous with entertainment. The world-famous Las Vegas Strip, a glittering oasis of casinos, theaters, and nightlife, is just a stone's throw away. Here, you can catch top-notch shows, try your luck at the gaming tables, or explore various themed resorts.
Despite its urban environment, Paradise provides ample opportunities for outdoor activities. Sunset Park is a local favorite, offering jogging paths, sports fields, picnic areas, and a beautiful lake. The nearby Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area is a paradise for hikers and rock climbers, providing stunning natural beauty just a short drive from the neighborhood.
The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) is conveniently located within Paradise, offering a wide range of academic programs and great opportunities for internships and careers after graduation.
Between The Strip, UNLV, Harry Reid International Airport, and tourist hotspots every mile, Paradise is one of the busiest areas in Las Vegas and is fitted for the fast-paced division of culture in the primarily tranquil desert of Nevada.

Paradise —
8.1/10 Rating
(based on 17 neighborhood reviews)
Most people would probably say to avoid Paradise all together because it is the most crime ridden part of Las Vegas. However, in my experience, that has not been the case at all. I have felt safe and secure in this neighborhood. Now that could be because of the 24 hour security plus the property is completely gated. Regardless, that should show how well this apartment has done in keeping its residents fear free.

The Rays at Vegas Towers
My neighborhood is safe and quiet, but with convenient access to commercial businesses. It is about twenty minutes from UNLV, but the commute is a "straight shot" meaning it is easy to navigate traffic.

The area around the apartment has been fine for me personally. There are some people that have expressed some discomfort with the safety and larger police presence in the area.

I love the area and neighborhood surrounding the complex. It’s extremely close to a few shopping centers and a 10 minute drive to the mall and Green Valley Ranch. There are a ton of restaurants and coffee shops nearby. It’s also a 12-15 minute drive to campus and there is never traffic

Trend!
Spring Valley spans a vast area immediately west of the Las Vegas strip. Panorama is largely positioned by itself, so it’s distinctly safe. The rest of Spring Valley is older and has an issue with general crime.

I feel safe in my home but I wouldn't be out walking alone at night. It is close enough to campus yet far enough. There are stores, gas stations and restaurants nearby.

It is right by the campus, so within walking distance. Fairly safe, but the surrounding area is not as safe.
