This is a very good neighborhood with a pretty even mix of homeowners vs. renters. It’s a really nice community with a neighborhood pantry where you can drop off and pick up food as you like. It’s also very close to multiple lakes, parks, and bike baths, and it’s a short bus or bike ride to campus!

The neighborhood is super safe, pet friendly, and mostly young professionals and graduate students. It is great walking the dog in the afternoon ad you'll see other families out and you're close to public parks and the capital!

Located in the center of the isthmus, this neighborhood offers great access to parks and bike paths. The are many bars and restaurants within walking distance. Highrise apartments are located mainly on Washington Ave, with single-family homes making up the surrounding areas. The Festival grocery store is centrally located.

Neighborhood is still developing on certain blocks, but there are a bunch of great restaurants and bars in the area. I have never felt unsafe walking home alone late at night.

Relatively quiet neighborhood with plenty of local events and places to walk. Relatively close to downtown so ~10 minutes bus ride or ~35 minute walk to get to tons of different restaurants or bars. Very pet friendly, great area for dogs.

Building is less than a ten minute walk to James Madison Park. Building has the convenience of being on a main road, but the neighborhood itself is quiet and has mostly young couples/families living there.

The neighbor provides a good mix of local Madison flavor, while remaining fairly close to Capital Square and campus. There are many restaurants and bars within walking distance, a good grocery store, access to multiple bus lines and bike paths, and you are a quick walk to the shops on Willy and/or Johnson street.

The overall neighborhood is nice. Cute shops and restaurants. I personally don't like living right next to a main street.

I honestly haven't interacted a lot with people in the neighborhood do to Covid-19 restrictions and my graduate school schedule. That said, those I have spoken and/or interacted with have been great.
