North Beach

Known for its beautiful beaches, quieter atmosphere, and excellent dining options, North Beach is a popular choice for residents and visitors alike. This area is highly residential and boasts tons of green space, making it ideal for families that still want to be close to the beach but further from the hustle-and-bustle of South Beach. North Shore Oceanside Park is a popular park that spans over nine blocks, and features a beautiful beach, walking trails, and picnic areas. The nearby Oleta River State Park offers visitors a range of outdoor activities, including kayaking, canoeing, and hiking. Residents looking to spend their day on the course will be happy to know that North Beach is within minutes of not one, but three golf courses.

The neighborhood is also home to several popular dining and entertainment destinations, including the historic North Beach Bandshell, which hosts live music events and food festivals throughout the year. The historic Normandy Fountain is surrounded by number of restaurants with a variety of cuisines.

North Beach is slightly further from the local universities (UMiami and FIU) - about a 35 minute drive to both. This leads to there being fewer students in the area, and more families and Florida visitors.
