Downtown
Neighborly Town
Downtown Columbus is full of parks, museums, breweries, and more. Stop in at the Center of Science and industry (COSI) where you can explore interactive exhibits, working labs and planetarium shows. Catch a Broadway show performed in the historic Ohio Theater. Hop outdoors to experience the beautiful river walk to run, bike, walk, or even take a kayak out on the river. There are a number of districts within walking or a short drive distance from Downtown like Germantown, northern arts area, Huntington Park, and a brewery district. It’s a great town to interact with your neighbors with a comforting and safe feel to it.

Really never had any issues but living downtown has it's issues such as the occasional homeless person. But the area typically isn't bad and I feel safe. I also love the neighborhood a street over very cute houses that are great for walking past.

The neighborhood is clean and friendly for the most part. It is smack dab in the middle of downtown Columbus.

Downtown is a great place to live. It is not immune to modern urban issues but overall the experience has been great and getting better every year.

Downtown Columbus is nice during the day but kind of dead at night. It is fairly safe but can feel a bit less safe at night if walking alone. It can be loud living next to Grant hospital but the noises of the city become nice background noise pretty quickly. If you like living in a city, this feels a bit smaller than most but can still be fun.

Downtown is what you’d expect, it’s loud but you get used to it, it’s as safe as a city can be for the most part, and it’s truly so convenient. There’s not a ton of walkable places but it is nice to have the Hills Market down the street.

There is not much around which is the only downside. However getting to places is not that bad we are like 5-8 minutes away from High Street and the surrounding downtown areas.

Area is fine with a nice park nearby, but I would not feel comfortable walking around much after dark with anything valuable on me.

Downtown, only real downside is that it is by a hospitable. But the siren sounds are not much of a bother.
