Not Ideal
This apartment is ground level/basement (built into a hill). There's not much natural light, and everything is brown including the old carpet (described to me as "mystery carpet" by the leasing agent herself...). I moved in here under unique circumstances and I know they're raising the rent significantly -- I would NOT rent this place for any more than what I pay now, which is extremely reasonable with a roommate. Maintenance requests are speedy and good, but the management is not very responsive or well organized. Neighbors upstairs are very noisy; you can hear every step and even make out conversations. Neighbors next door have a loud party almost every Saturday night, basically right outside my bedroom. But there are some bonuses: big gas range/oven, cats allowed (w/ deposit), very close to law school/downtown and to the stadium if that's your thing, 1 parking spot included plus street parking nearby w/ a little hunting. Also though it's a 2-bedroom there's a weird 3rd basement room that can be used for storage or pet space. Utilities (electric) are pretty low.
