Ivy Garden Review
Ivy is a great place to live. It is overall cheaper, has more space, and is more secure than other options in the same area. Management is helpful and is quick to help fix anything (last time I called maintenance they got here in about 12 hours- and I called on a Sunday) The only real complaint I have would be that the walls are very thin, so if you are a light sleeper you may have to invest in some good ear plugs.

good. lots of room for a 1 bedroom. old building. thin walls/lots of noise. generally a decent number of bugs during season changes...

Not sure
No major complaints--the management is great and we are fortunate enough to have a renovated unit. We found the layout to be a little strange initially, but we've made it work. The only downside is that carpet, so if that's a pet-peeve, this isn't the spot for you.

10/10 Recommend Ivy Garden
Ivy Garden is a great location that is close to the school and isn't terribly expensive like Pav is. I know friends who lived in both and said that Pav felt like they were away on a business trip while Ivy feels like their actual home. One downside about Ivy is that it only has one entrance and there is a very narrow pass-through under a bridge to get there. Management is great though, and the area feels very safe.

Ivy
Ivy is great. The apartments aren’t anything fancy, but the rent is reasonable and the management office is responsive and does a good job keeping the property maintained.

Convenient, affordable, good community
Good location only a 10 minute walk to the law school and a 5 minute walk to North Grounds Recreation Center.
The apartment itself is clean and we've had no issues. The appliances are a little dated, but they work fine and you can get an apartment with upgraded appliances for slightly higher rent.
No in-unit washer/dryer, but the several laundry facilities are conveniently located and I haven't had any issues finding empty machines when I need them.
The management company is responsive to outreach.
I like the fact that it's mostly law and business students here. It's a nice community and people are generally friendly. Thankfully no issues with packages being taken.

Old apartments
The kitchen and bathroom are old, and you can listen to your neighbors walking on the upper floor which is a bit unpleasant.

Not fancy, but spacious and close to school!
The building is kind of old and my unit hasn’t been updated, but this makes it cheaper and we have a lot of space. Best part is definitely proximity to school and to classmates, most of whom live in this complex or at the Pavilion!

Generally Good
I have generally enjoyed my experience! The apartment was clean and ready for us at move-in. We've had a few maintenance issues, but the management is generally attentive.

Old but decent
Lots of space, spacious complex with many trees, management responds fairly quickly but didn’t seem legally sophisticated (no smoking provision wasn’t included on the lease so we had neighbors that could smoke inside their apartments and management didn’t know how to respond to a tenant threatening to overstay their lease).
