Convenient, close to KU, comfortable
The apartment is comfortable and spacious and staff is nice and helpful. Other college tenants are noisy and night and often break things in the building.

Do NOT Live here!!
Due to management turnover there have been a lot of issues with maintenance and management. While the HERE is fine in terms of location because it is located next to a bus stop which services routes 43, 10, 30, and 36 (to my knowledge), which can take you a variety of places including the MERC, Massachusetts Street, and Sprouts Farmers Market, there is little else that is serviceable about the complex.
Despite noting that I have severe cat allergies, I was placed in a room with a cat that has bitten and scratched me on several occasions, and am unable to move into a unit with my same floor plan/rent. My lock appeared to be picked with a knife or sharp object of some sort, and it still has not been fixed by maintenance despite having filed a maintenance report and having a property manager inspect the lock to tell me that it was picked. It was picked so badly that the master key and my personal key can barely fit into the lock.
There are complex-wide evacuations that happen randomly at any time of the day. Trash rooms are nasty. There is rampant vandalism and times at which there is broken glass on the floors. And if you renew, it is likely that your rent will actually increase if you choose to renew, unlike most other complexes.
Amenities such as the coffee machine are more often broken than not. While the study room is nice, it does not beat the Wheat Law library's amenities. The gym does not exactly feel comfortable going to, as there are rarely other women I see there. The various sky lounges and whatnot are quite nice, as well as the pool, but I do not think it is a trade off for my safety concerns.
The security officer is very nice, although there are only 1-2 of them. There are concerns about alcohol not only because of drunk undergrads around the complex, but because of frat houses and house parties that consistently take place nearby. Additionally, the walls are paper thin and I can constantly hear my roommate who lives in the unit on the other side of our apartment on the phone.

A bit pricey, but on the nicer side. There are a good number of campus buses that go from the front of the apartment to the front of Green hall. They also hire movers for the move-in process, and they are generally pretty efficient with moving everything for you. They are not the fastest when it comes to maintenance, and you’ll have to bug them often as well. A lot of the residence throw parties, and you can generally hear parties 4 or 5 apartments down the hall.

Close to campus and cheap. Other people living in the building are younger/in undergrad still, so the study rooms are always empty.

Can be very loud most nights from parties going on. Security doesn’t enforce quiet hours and the property is always getting trashed by drunk tenants. The management doesn’t do a great job of cleaning common areas.
