The Grove Richland

The grove is the premier apartment for thr cost. Its absolutely imaculate inside the gates and feels like an oasis, free starbucks, free wine, free energy drinks at office, 2 nice gyms with smith machine, 4 pools available, ect. Only downside is its a 5 min drive from campus, 30 min walk.

Great location close to Belmont and close to the center of Nashville. Sometimes can be noisy due to being close to the interstate but just depends on the time of day. Amenities are unbeatable and price is unbeatable for the location. I've lived here for 2 years now and love it!

There were definitely some good and bad things about The Grove.
Pros: it's a very nice gated community; there are trash and recycling services offered; maintenance is helpful and kind; there is (normally) plenty of parking; the office is great about answering their phone; it's pretty quiet on the property; and they do a lot of work to keep it looking nice.
Cons: we had a lot of maintenance issues (everything from a busted toilet to our air conditioner being wired backwards to our water heater freezing over and leaking water into our kitchen) - there was something wrong every single month that we have lived here; there were more bugs than we think we should've seen considering how much we pay for this place (and you have to ask for your place to be sprayed, they don't do it regularly otherwise) - we actually had a centipede infestation at one point over the summer; the office can be rather unhelpful at times with resolving some of these issues that we have had, and could be rather condescending at times; and the walls are very thin so we have been able to hear our neighbors stomping around and talking all the time (and at 1:30 am...).

Overall, it was a good first apartment to live in, but it definitely has had more problems than we felt should be here considering how expensive it is to live here.

I love the Grove! It's an 8-minute drive Vanderbilt and set in the suburbs with all the luxuries of urban living. It is extremely safe and the facilities they offer are all amazing. Management is super responsive and helpful. Quiet neighborhood but the community is very young and fun!

I love living here, but I do have a lot of issues with sound, which is amplified by the fact that I spend so much time learning/studying from home due to COVID.
