Social Epicenter
The Yard has nice, furnished apartments. It's greatest asset is the proximity to so many Ross students and Ross itself. Unfortunately, you share the building with undergrads who can be loud, messy, and anti-mask (in this era of COVID19). The train also runs relatively early in the morning and will wake you up regardless of where your unit is in the building.

Central location for MBA students
This is a great location if you are looking to live near other MBA students. It can be a bit noisy on the weekends with undergrads running around, but is not the loudest place I've lived. It's a reasonable walk to Ross and downtown and is recommended if you are looking to be social.

Don't live here - save $$ elsewhere
Now an undergrad apartment apparently. Not worth the money - other houses in AA are very comparable quality for much less.

Convenient but not the best quality
The convenience of the apartment is great- location is only ~12 minute walk to campus and lots of students live here or across the street. The quality of the building leaves something to be desired- sound travels within the apartment and you hear your upstairs neighbor. The train is also right outside and can be very loud depending where your unit is.

Good amenities, great location
The gym is nice, the maintenance team is always readily available. I believe majority or residents are undergraduates, which is fine just a different dynamic for the whole building sometimes. Great location close to Ross, Main St, Munger, the IM Building, and the stadium.

Great Apartments for MBAs

Great Potential, Lackluster Management
The Yard is great if you want high-end without the high price; however, the building is more or less managed by undergrads, and it shows. The best parts of living here are the fact that a ton of other MBAs do too, so its easy for studying, get-togethers, and visits with friends. Its also great for the cold, as parking is covered (but $200 extra a month) and offers a shuttled (which has been clutch for the rainy or extra cold days). It's perfect if you're moving from far away, are cool living with roommates, and want a well-appointed apartment.
