maplewood
Walking distance to Sage, proximity to running paths, Coal Yard Cafe / Dunkin extremely accessible, guest parking easy, inconsistent wifi but better wifi than CTT, small but reasonable gym, good mail, paid parking, nice kitchens, community garden was nice over the summer / spring, watch out for towing if parked illegally (they are fast)

Solid Option in an Expensive Rental Market
The apartments are new and therefore pretty good, but management is a bit non-responsive to requests

Nice buildings but designed poorly
A/C system is horrendous and the unit was clearly built in a rush. Lots of issues on arrival (not clean, things not working, etc). We paid a full month of rent in August for 10 days so they can "clean" the apartments but our apartment wasn't even clean when we got here.

Great place to rent as an MBA student
Having lived at both CTT and Maplewood, this apartment complex is great value for the money. Although you may find the rooms a bit smaller than CTT, the shared living space is great for hanging out and hosting gatherings. I have the luxury of living with my friends which enhances the experience.
You'll also find upscale amenities such as stainless steel appliances, dishwasher, electric stove/oven, and in-unit washer and dryer. This apartment comes furnished which makes the value even better. I saved $200/mo switching from CTT to Maplewood in a similar 3br/3ba arrangement.
Maplewood attracts many MBA students which makes it great to hang out as well. Maplewood is also very pet friendly which was also a big determinate for me to switch. My personal experience is that guest Parking is extremely limited on-site and the apartment was not cleaned well prior to my moving in. My experience with management has generally been fine, although I have heard from others that they may be slow to react.

Good price for internationals
It is by far one of the best options for international students since the house comes with furniture. Also, it is a nice place to live but a little far away from the Commons (20 min walk). My one criticism is that the building was not well-built so you can hear when the neighbors from the floor above are walking.

A lot of money for something cheap
Apartments are cramped and cheaply built. They were built to look nice, not for functionality. For example, the kitchen counter has no overhang so you can't actually sit at it, even though there are chairs there. Another example is the light fixtures, which get slammed by the cabinets when you try to open them. It's fine if you can't visit beforehand and want to know that what you're getting is ok. But if you have the ability to visit Ithaca before starting school, you will get a much better property for a much lower price if you look at various houses available for rent.

Good experience - only con is location to social activities
Their maintenance team has improved since I moved in about 1.5 years ago. Overall, the complex is new but definitely cheaply made. The price is good though compared to other places grad students live (CTT, City Centre). Great location for Sage access, but the biggest downside is that it can be annoying to travel to social scene in the commons especially in the winter.
