The best part is the night guard
Old building, smells stale. The front desk is USUALLY pretty helpful, when they're around. The apartment itself is very dark, a few lights in the kitchen and a ceiling fan. Kitchen cabinets are cheap, old wood very haphazardly put together. The granite countertop is a nice touch. Bathroom is very small, very little ventilation and the windows hardly open.

Great Value for Studio
I recently moved to 1140 N Lasalle because of the location and social aspects.
Location: 4 blocks away from Oak Street beach, close to downtown, close to a food store and great coffee shops/restaurants
Value: Great rent price for the studio. Heard some floors had critter problems, but have not experienced any thus far. The floor, walls, and door are not great quality but the space is quite big.
Management: I haven't had much interaction with the property management yet, but they seem nice
