For Booth, no-brainer. Horrible management though.
Good location. Bad management. Perfect for Boothies. It's a no-brainer.

Convenient location & social scene
MPP is a very convenient place to live since the train station is across the street and so many students live here. You can easily get to other neighborhoods like Rive North and West Loop and you can go to lots social events without ever leaving the apartment.
The apartments are spacious and decent quality for the price. Downsides are that the management and maintenance teams can be a bit frustrating at times.

Fun but slow elevator. Good deal

You get what you pay for
Not the nicest space in the world but I think I have the value I pay for and like being in the same building as many of my classmates.

MPP is where it's at
MPP is the spot. Cheap, and right at the heart of the Booth student scene.

you get what you pay for
the apartment and unit is pretty old - and comes with issues associated with age (carpet flooring, things falling apart, not super modern appliances, amenities can be a bit lacking, etc) but very spacious and if you go in with low expectations - actually not bad. definitely get a unit higher up if you can and away from the N Michigan side - the bucket drummers make me want to punch a wall. location is also great (right across from metra)

Great for what you pay for
It’s less expensive than the other buildings but it’s still a great, comfortable option. Apartments are big, gym is ok, and doormen are friendly. Lots of Booth people which is cool (and very convenient)

Good value for money but TERRIBLE management
MPP is a big Booth dorm. The management company hates us and makes sure to show us how little they care about the steady stream of people we are bringing in. Also very poorly maintained. This year, a huge wooden panel in the lobby fell from the roof and we were lucky that nobody was under it (they would have died). Also the elevators are constantly getting stuck or falling floors.

The Loop Reviews
Very close to the lake and navy pier
Great park surrounded by all the buildings.
There’s good supermarket that has everything. A couple restaurants and coffee shops are also there.
That being said, if you're anywhere near State St. or the Mag mile, there's pretty much people around at any given hour. It's fun to live downtown because the streets are bustling with interesting people, sometimes there's live music on street corners and there are a lot of restaurants and shops.
