MPP
Love living with everyone else from Booth. Building is fairly nice if you come from the East Coast and are used to the bare bones for an apartment. Great views from the triples.

MPP
MPP is a good building - not luxurious, but good enough and relatively inexpensive if you share a 3-bedroom apartment. The location is excellent - right downtown, so walking distance to a lot of corporate events and Chicago sights, and also right above Millennium Station for a quick commute to campus. Having lived in a regular apartment in London before, I find the loading dock very useful as it removes the hassle of receiving packages and is open quite late almost every day. There is also a decent gym for a casual user like me. Within the unit itself, I like the spacious kitchen and living room. I have the smallest room in my 3-bed apartment and, again coming from London, even this is enough for my needs - I have room to study, a reasonably-sized closet and a very partial but also very nice view of Lake Michigan. When I think back to my decision, it boiled down to: decent building, good price, lots of Booth people (i.e., house parties with no commute). Overall, pretty happy.

Only good because of network effects
It's great being in the same building as so many other Boothies, and inexpensive, but management is pretty bad. It's a shame, because the location and physical apartments are pretty nice.

Convenient
Very conveniently located for being close to the entire student body and the train down to Harper. Pretty lackluster management and several issues with elevators.

MPP
Overall, I like living in MPP. I like the size of the apartment compared to other much smaller apartments in the Loop.
The biggest downsides to the apartment are not having in-unit washer/dryer and the temperature is hard to regulate (heat/AC operate from units in the living room and bedroom instead of being central air). I have had some issues with management over parking but they have otherwise been fine.

Very fine, best option at the price point
MPP is fine. The building is on the older side, but the units themselves are nice enough. Some apartments have very nice view of the park, though so simply overlook Michigan Ave and get a decent amount of noise from the street. The gym is subpar, but does the trick in a pinch. Elevators are a bit sketchy from time to time. There are certainly much nicer buildings in the area, but MPP is the best option at its price point. It's also the closest option to Millennium Station (train to campus).

Decent bang for the buck
Nothing spectacular but solid housing choice; location convenience is probably the most attractive attribute.

The Loop Reviews
Very close to the lake and navy pier
Great park surrounded by all the buildings.
There’s good supermarket that has everything. A couple restaurants and coffee shops are also there.
That being said, if you're anywhere near State St. or the Mag mile, there's pretty much people around at any given hour. It's fun to live downtown because the streets are bustling with interesting people, sometimes there's live music on street corners and there are a lot of restaurants and shops.
